The Denver Zoo was founded in 1896. It got its start to house an orphaned Black Bear donated to the city. Today it sits upon 80 acres in the City Park located in within Denver, Colorado. The Zoo is accredited by the Assocation of Zoos and Aquariums.

Hours: 10 AM – 5 PM daily. However, entry may not be allowed after 4 PM.

Tickets:
Adults (Ages 16-64): $24
Seniors (Ages 65+): $21
Youth (Ages 3-15): $18
Youth 2 and Under: Free

Parking: Free

Pet Daycare: No pet daycare is available, but service animals are welcome. Be sure to follow the Denver Zoo’s well-defined policy for service animals, and you should call ahead if you have any questions.
